This multimedia report welcomes you to the world of Veterinary Orthopedics at The Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center.

The VMC offers more than 20 specialty services, from Critical Care to Radiation Oncology. Among these services is Orthopedic Surgery, which draws patrons from across the country for their animals to receive optimal orthopedic care.

More total hip replacements are performed at the VMC than anywhere else in the world.

The clinic’s mission is “to serve the citizens of the State of Ohio through the support of the clinical education of veterinary students, post graduate veterinarians and others, and promote animal well-being through the operation of a state-of-the-art veterinary medical center.”

The VMC website lists the following as their goals:
